InfoTimes.net LAUNCHES DALIT VOICE NEWSLETTER IN THE USA

by FREE PRESS NETWORK (FPN)

WASHINGTON, DC, USA, 14 January 2003 (InfoTimes.net): InfoTimes
Network, America's independent news-info service, has launched the
Dalit Voice Web-Email newsletter in the United States of America to
internationalize the national human rights movement of Dalits and all
other persecuted minorities in India.

The Internet-Web address of the Dalit Voice newsletter is:
http://www.topica.com/lists/dalitvoice

The Dalit Voice newletter's website has been linked to the
www.InfoTimes.net , www.InfoTimes.net/fpn and
www.InformationTimes.com websites.

Dalit Voice is a fortnightly magazine established in 1981 and
published from Bangalore, India, to defend the human rights of all
persecuted nationalities. V.T. Rajshekar, an eminent journalist and
author of books based in Bangalore, India, is the Editor of Dalit
Voice.

Several articles selected from the Dalit Voice journal and received
from other news-info sources will be printed in the Dalit Voice
newsletter every week.

After India gained its independence on 15 August 1947 from the
tyrannical, barbarous and corrupt British Raj, the ruling Hindu
tyrants transformed secular democratic India into a Terrorist Mafia
State of Hindu-India which is now being ruled by Hindu dogmatists
(religious fanatics, terrorists, racists and bigots, etc.) These evil
Hindu dictators imposed their racist, discriminatory and barbaric
ideology of Hinduism, which is dogmatism, by force on all Indian
citizens to make them the slaves of Hindu rulers.

Terrorism, barbarism, casteism and racism are the four pillars of
Hinduism. The corrupt tyranny of Hindu-India has divided, persecuted
and enslaved almost all the 1,049,700,118 (U.S. CIA's July 2003
estimate) Indian citizens. That's why billions of persecuted social
groups, Dalits, Sikhs, Kashmiris, Pakistanis, Bengalis, Arabs,
Muslims, Christians, Jews, Jainists, Buddhists, Confucianists,
Taoists, Shintoists, Atheists, other people of the world and
even "secular Hindus" strongly oppose Hinduism.

Armed with the information, education and guidance of Dr. Bhimji
Ramji Ambedkar (1891-1956), a Buddhist -- other great leaders of
Dalits and the Dalit Voice magazine -- the Dalits are still
struggling to liberate themselves from the repressive stranglehold of
dogmatic Hindu tyrants. Dalits seek civil rights, equal justice,
liberty, education, medical care, jobs and freedom from the barbaric
Hindu caste system of Hinduism.

The National Campaign on Dalit Human Rights (NCDHR) states that it
is "part of a wider struggle to abolish 'untouchability' and to 'cast
out caste.' 'Untouchability' and caste discrimination continue to be
a brutal reality for more than [300] million Dalits living in India
today, despite the fact that more than half a century has passed
since India was born as a 'democratic' and independent state."

NCDHR demands that the apartheid-ruled Hindu Government of India
must "recognize that Dalit rights are human rights. Place a White
Paper in Parliament on the atrocities against Dalits and the
reservation facilities actually granted to Dalits since 1947.
Effectively implement in spirit and action the SC/ST (Prevention of
Atrocities) Act, 1989 and Rules, 1995 in all states. Work towards
total literacy and ensure free, universal and compulsory education
for all Dalit children. Ensure the right of [employment] for Dalits
and other [oppressed nationalities] in all [government and] private
enterprises. Afford full protection to all Dalits participating in
Panchayat Raj and other 'democratic' institutions of the country's
polity. Protect the land rights of Dalits and strictly implement and
enforce the Land Reforms Act, including distributing government,
bhoodan, temple and ceiling surplus, and any other lands to the
Dalits on a swift and time-bound basis. Provide the Dalit community
in India with sufficient financial resources necessary for their
social development, since the denial of basic needs of Dalits amounts
to denial of their human rights."
