In the first place I should like to thank Erik for starting this mailing list. I do hope we can help each other with interesting information. I have 2 questions: Rapsodia Satanica: A few years ago I saw this old film with Mascagni's music on television here in Holland. (If I remember well it was a broadcast of the German TV) The music was beautifully performed by the Suisse Romande Orchestra. Question: does anybody know of availability of this performance on CD or LP? (About 2 years ago this music was performed by a Belgian orchestra in a Belgian radio broadcast (in my opinion beautifully done, better than the "Londerzeel" performance) Question 2: Gigli once recorded the very remarkable song "Stornelli marini". I have tried to get the sheet music of that song but had no succes. (Even "Broekmans & Van Poppel" in Amsterdam could not help me. Who can help? Thanks in advance!
