okay, thanks. my guess was:

<limit-transform-param>maxTransforms</limit-transform-param>

so i guess that was pretty close, but no cigar.
btw, how about setting this parameter for the preloaded view factories like
"trivial"? is there a default-limit-transform-param or something like that,
or do i need to re-install trivial with this added?
