This can all be done in javascript on the client, if you want to use scripting. It really only has to do with what html you generate from the view, and nothing on the server side.
If you want to use an anchor, instead of a button, a common trick is to use a unique (if you want every link to have its own window) target name on the anchor tag. Here is an example. <a href="showPicture.m?pic=123" target="PictWin">show picture (new win)</a> This trick should also work on with the form tag, but I haven't tested that. Searching google for "target attribute new window" produces good results. Good luck. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Jordan C N Chong Sent: Saturday, March 30, 2002 5:59 AM To: maverick Subject: [Mav-user] open a new window? Dear all, I wonder is it possible to activate another IE (ie. open another new windows) by using Maverick? For illustration, when the user clicks a button, activating the command showPic (which is to show a picture), could I activate a new IE, to run the command, and to show the picture? Please help. Thank you very much. Wish you all the best.
