Yep.. did it again, last night i took a plunge and got hibernate going.
After a few hours a really got the hang of it, i do not yet really grasp all
fancy and enhanded idea's
behind it, but for now it does the job.

I will try to work out some simple examples and post that back to
the Hibernate guys. Kodo is something i will really take on for sure.
Personally i believe that
JDO is the way to go. I worked with EJB for 1 year now and am getting tired
off all the difficult stuff i have to
manage to get the stuff working. JDO/Hibernate/etc.. anything that is simple
and easy to work with
has my preference. (It would be nice to get a complete understanding for
once :-)

I really want to thank you all for pointing me into the right direction...

Marco

Here is a thread from the castor-dev list. The subject is "Feature
Comparison Chart Torque, Castor, JRF", need I say more:)

http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg03850.html

As for Kodo, I don't know.

Here is a simple javaworld article about persistence.

If no one here has a definitive answer, of which there is probably a
good chance, I'd suggest posting to the castor-dev/torgue/kodo
forums/lists. If you find anything good, please feel free to post back
here. :)

Thanks,
Scott

Can anyone suggest some differences then between Torque, Kodo and Castor
?

Why pay money for a product if you can use it for free, this in relation
to
Kodo and Torque..
