Hi,

tried with setCharacterEncoding() for both request and response - it
doesn't affect anything, still the same issue, but some small
discoveries - it doesn't matter which encoding you put there - always
the same incorrectly encoded text (maybe two times encoded).

for static xml files - there is no controller, only xml and xslt
files, but somehow that text (from xml file) gets broken.
