I use the same procedure to install the Win 7 Rollup (as an application) – as 
per Johan’s blog

Are you making sure you have the April servicing stack update installed first

For some reason my Applications keep hanging during my reference image…. (see

I tried repointing the applications source directory but didn’t change anything.
