With the limitation info from the below email, I guess you are meaning the installer stops at installing bootloader. (In fact, Meego is using syslinux rather than grub if I remember correctly)
Are you partitioning your disk manually? If so, please check if you have separated '/boot' formatted as ext3 , such as sda1 as '/boot' formatted with ext3, and sda2 as '/' formatted with btrfs (this sample is default partition form of meego for netbook). If your issue is not what I guess, please give more detail info, like what platform, which image version, how to reproduce, what specific steps you used ...
