Hello everybody! I am trying to find the dispersion function [image: D], typically measured in ps/nm-km, of a simple SOI-waveguide. Silicon waveguide is typically ranged in a few hundreds of nanometers. I am using the k_find class from MPB, and then I perform derivative twice in order to obtain [image: \beta_2] and then [image: D]. I am not sure if this is the correct way to do it. Please advise me.
