Help please. Evaporator drain?
The vehicle is a 1985 300Dt with 152K miles driven in southwest Florida
where it is still 90 degrees and humid. I had a new evaporator installed a
couple of years ago and periodically got water leaking on the front carpet
in the passenger side. I thought that it was maybe a leaky windshield seal
or maybe a leak from the engine compartment (under the battery?) when I
washed the car.
The car has been in the garage and has not been washed for a month or more.
After driving it twice recently the carpet was wet near the top. I am now
thinking that the issue is condensation from the evaporator. I do not know
where the evaporator drain is located. Can anyone help? I have the W123 CD
but did not find the evaporator drain. Thanks.
