I’ve never been a fan of autotools so I’m glad to see it go. I added meson support to our internal Linux build script some time ago and it seems fine. For Windows we still rely on scons. I’ve been pretty focused on non-Mesa work for a while but testing meson on Windows (and mingw) is on my radar. Retiring scons will be some work because of integration issues with our VMware build infrastructure for Windows.
