Indeed. I usually search for a unique header string like 'diff-tree'
when I want to look at each commit. I'd prefer not having the diffs in
the mail at all though, but possibly gitweb URLs instead.

Would that also send one mail for each commit of a merge? Not sure
people would like the mail floods that could produce...
