Greg, Mike, and Robert,

Thanks for sharing the details of your expedition. What a beautiful bunch of meteorites.

Re: snakes.... I'm not a fan.

Regards,

Dave

Subject: [meteorite-list] Berduc, Argentina Fall Expedition

Dear List Members,

Mike Farmer asked me to forward his email to the List in regards to our recent expedition to investigate the Berduc, Argentina meteorite fall. At the bottom are links to his web pages he built describing it.

Enjoy!
Greg

Hello list members

Robert Ward, Greg Hupe and I have just returned from
an expedition to Entre-Rios Argentina, where we
investigated the Berduc meteorite fall.

We were there for a week, studying the strewnfield,
searching for meteorites, teaching the locals about
strewnfields etc. We endured eating pig intestines,
heat, thorns stabbing every part of the body you can
imagine and snakes! Did I mention the snakes? We saw
them every day, lots of them, just google the "Yarara"
snake, and learn about the most common inhabitant of
the Berduc meteorite strewnfield. If you are scared of
snakes, this was not the trip for you.

If you are tired of the crappy newspaper accounts of
the fall, then check out the webpages I put together
with information and photos from our trip.
