Hi list, I have read (and been told) the barred olivine chondrules wire a result of a shock wave traveling through the early soup. Maybe in some instances but not in this one. It GREW!
If ordinary BO chondrules are a result of a shock wave then a new name is needed for this type of thing. Email me for some pics. The subject chondrule is found in a slice of SaU 001.
