Ah, that's a common misconception. HTML classes have nothing to do with CSS. You can style classes with CSS because you can style *many* selectors (ids, tag names, and any other attributes) with CSS. The class attribute has no more to do with CSS than the tag name or the id or anything else. HTML classes provide a mechanism for extending the semantics of the document, which many microformats make use of (along with other useful HTML semantics such as the href attribute of <a> tags, etc). - -- Stephen Paul Weber, @singpolyma See <http://singpolyma.net> for how I prefer to be contacted edition right joseph -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJP05ScAAoJENEcKRHOUZzeTSYQAMqSBtCE5CdDe5rKVen5WM5q 67n2Ed1C9Nh4/TXxOrJiK8zzVQAflM3hSVhOGXSinzhJqsQ2g/z0CJ226LTMuUQu wcZLDh85xU2ypkVlKO4dt1r4eZaoCv5AkNyluHudFIsPNOygA/Ne1XI9KNFPf5u8 g7gVEizoo8McwxavwubxvIlye/Mkcbs+w3XgTJxw3NtupEV5Bs/OaWzl0LCNUamh VqzNqk/C5UPdXwP2VTU+kTAeDke0vMtlnSUOt8pKcoWcfqMnzTq5vM9GCNVuuava U48ynzfaLjkNwB7A4WJteNxuTiLx4Oq1qgMhAYJQTngVh8K3Dz9wvi7OaPGeVomA TWkHGhT/GfEWF2Qqbv1atsiAhnWldlqh0oL5qQnvEdwP335l3yNCjMJM11sq1z6w 2nMdgCrp7uFaSww1mcnGGYAVt4XVXxBMAtVqxxERXQFBaO2WDbJKk7mMgE+TO8+3 H4eafqqk6veDAbnYb5HuKHM6lxMYKw17y5Y5HUNBeJ+6dPZsarduSzi3F9KqD6yx HW63Bu84kpR2HWOgrAx1bGc9tONhAaJjjrgTfpXtbudsgE3TCnjm/P9bEZd3GDqQ +JMwBkjh6EDlm6OO3AKC4lSe4aZwPiUcTtXx6MweaVk0NNRo5hviK5stgUjK7LyB GMW7f+XV5ll6xyu+EE13 =2RMT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ microformats-discuss mailing list microformats-discuss@microformats.org http://microformats.org/mailman/listinfo/microformats-discuss
