You should also look at the work which has been done on a proposed
"citation" microformat:

        <http://microformats.org/wiki/citation>

since a poem on a website is, effectively, cited.

Then you should compile examples of poems published on the web: what
data is commonly included?

You might find, for example, that most poems published are dated, or
cre4dit the author. But what else?
