bios-mods.com has high-wire patches to bypass the whitelist, thinkwiki.org a couple of less risky tricks but I'd just return the laptop. Some Lenovos have the closed-source "Express Gate" BIOS-level remote desktop, w/ GPU encoding so your system load won't even blink. -- p
