<sigh> What do you think it does, how did you use it, and how did you determine that it has no effect? I've already noted that the -B option only affects submission and is ignored when running sendmail as a daemon, making GVG's usage of it incorrect. If you aren't feeding the sendmail command an email message on stdin, then the -B option isn't for you. Philip Guenther
