I want to check it it MISDN status widht Nagios2.
I found this command: misdn show stack (from script: asterisk -rx "misdn
show stacks)
I don't think this will work, expecially with MultiPoint protocol with provider turning down L1 when there is no activity.

Clients that only have one BRI line, don't care about line status to monitor or event don't have money to buy one monitoring solution.

This is more important for PRI lines, for big costumers that communications it's their business and pay for a monitoring solution. In couple of weeks (or when we get time) we will move this monitoring stuff (asterisk TDM cards line status) to Zabbix, that it's what we are trying here, to be our monitoring solution.

Don't know how we will do that yet, if "asterisk -rx" solution or if we will use asterisk manager interface, but probably asterisk manager interface because i have seen "asterisk -rx" fail to many times.

Good luck for your work.

Cheers,
