Hi all,
Just in case you haven't heard yet -- Mixxx was not accepted this year for
GSoC. I got in touch with the GSoC team and they said they wanted to make
room for newer orgs to have a chance (such as icecast!) and since Mixxx has
been in GSoC for 7 years they thought we needed a break ;).
To all the students who were interested, you don't have to get involved
with Mixxx through GSoC! If you'd like we can work with you to scope out a
project and get your work in the hands of DJs worldwide. Working on Mixxx
(and open source in general) is a great learning experience and also looks
good on a resume.
