Yes, I've already investigated, but I was still not successful in finding out
why it fails on POST requests while it works fine for GET requests. Actually
it's even more complicated: POST works fine, but not for Netscape. It seems
like it's related to a POST+keepalive combination (which Netscape uses).

Sure, you just can use one of the older versions as long as they work for you.
I hope to have mod_ssl 2.2.5 out next week with a solution for the POST thing.
