In IE 6.0: Internet Options --> Advanced Look in the section "Security" (? I have an italian browser....) there is a checkbox about saving encrypted pages on disk. Uncheck ;) In Netscape 6.2 .... I did not find any configurable item (and I did not make any check...) Regards

It it something that can be changed at the server level? Or is it purely a WWW browser issue (in that case - where to find exact description of the bahavior)?
