Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: Core Group: MonetDB Common "candidate" Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Mark Bucciarelli (mbucc) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: OpenBSD doesn't support sysctlbyname Initial Comment: I could only find one instance in the code base of this function. The attached patch fixes the issue. Note that I crash if the call fails; seems like a decent route as something is seriously wrong in this case. The other option was to log a warning and set #cpus = 1. The other code paths don't check the return value of the sysctl call. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=482468&aid=2920265&group_id=56967 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Monetdb-bugs mailing list Monetdb-bugs@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/monetdb-bugs
