I just installed MonoTouch 4.0.3, and indeed the crash doesn't happen any more. However, the callback is never fired AT ALL. You can use my previous repro to see it happen on the device, it works just fine in the simulator. Please fix this issue, it has prevented us from putting an update to our app on the App Store.
