Why is sourceforge's capablities influencing the direction of this project? Why does this project need to be hosted on sourceforge? Sure it's got mailing list support, and bug tracking and versioned downloads and all that other crap, but without code, you don't really need any of that, or you've gotten along just fine without using sorceforge so far (in the case of the mailing list). -------------------------- Message 22 on *C& Group (#72879): Date: Tue Mar 11 17:50:55 2003 PST From: Luke-Jr (#115349) To: TEf (#69976) and *C& Group (#72879) Not much a problem here, but a few people on MOO-Cows and LambdaMOO-Server have been complaining about the discussion. The only way SF is really influencing the project is causing a name scheme to be chosen sooner rather that later. It would have had to happen anyway.
