Why is sourceforge's capablities influencing the direction of this
project?  Why does this project need to be hosted on sourceforge?  Sure
it's got mailing list support, and bug tracking and versioned downloads
and all that other crap, but without code, you don't really need any of
that, or you've gotten along just fine without using sorceforge so far
(in the case of the mailing list).

Not much a problem here, but a few people on MOO-Cows and
LambdaMOO-Server have been complaining about the discussion.
The only way SF is really influencing the project is causing a name
scheme to be chosen sooner rather that later. It would have had to
happen anyway.
The code-based things on SF would be used for C&/MOOcode related code,
such as LambdaMOO server patches/modifications, compilers, and interpretors.
