That provides the feature when it is desired without providing an action ata
distance bug when it is unexpected.
Perhaps, but it's far too late to make that change now without breaking
everyone's code :)
You can't maintain 'XXX' to silently override as is the current behaviour, and
introduce more prefixes to handle the new behaviours?
