The software that we use for the list is called MailMan. It is one of the standards for lists as it is installed on a high percentage of servers and is open source (free).
Unfortunately it is not customizable on my end without a lot of code hacking. I know that there are limitations with both the digest options we can offer, but there's nothing that I can do to improve that. As mentioned earlier today, those of you experiencing pain and suffering with the "Plain Text Digest" should try out the "Mime Digest" to see if it is a better fit for your needs.
