I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone on the list that it is not appropriate to post political pleas or messages on this list. These types of messages are not in keeping with the purpose of this list and can take us into highly charged waters.
While the intent of the message seemed innocent enough, what's to stop another member from posting a plea to get signatures on another cabinet position or asking members to support or contribute to someone's campaign? Please let this thread drop now. If you have a question about the issue contact Bev off-list or take 30 seconds to Google the person's name and the word petition and you'll get the link.
