Like any good Duluthian, I was attracted to Canal Park by a Laker leaving the harbor shortly after sunrise. Before leaving I decided to check the flock of mallards that often congregates right next to shore, just outside the North Pier. I was surprised to find a Harlequin Duck making like a mallard!
