I visited the Jirik Sod Farms south of 200th in Dakota County today. There are still wet areas near the road that held numerous shorebirds, though I didn't see a Red-necked Phalarope, nor any Buff-breasted Sandpipers.
Birds present included Killdeer, Lesser Yellowlegs, and good numbers of Stilt, Baird's, Least and Pectoral sandpipers. A couple of Semipalmated Sandpipers were also present. The Wagner Sod Farms near Castle Rock only held Killdeer and a lone Lesser Yellowlegs.
