Hello, We have what seems to be a Cooper's Hawk nest in our backyard oak tree near Uptown/Lake of the Isles. We've seen the hawk flying over and working on the nest. It fits the description of their nest based on some quick internet searches. What has us puzzled is is this the time of year when Cooper's Hawks would start nesting? It seems late in the year, but perhaps they aren't exclusively spring nesters?
