Solar Installation Project Outline and Volunteer Job Description
Beginning January 5th and continuing throughout the rest of the month, the Green Institute will be installing a 34.5 kW photovoltaic solar application on the Phillips Eco Enterprise Center located at 2801 21st Avenue South in Minneapolis.
Volunteer duties include: snow removal, assembly of solar panel/rack systems, and transporting equipment. Professional solar application installers will be on hand to provide instruction. Work will take place indoors and outdoors so volunteers will need to dress appropriately for the weather. Hot beverages and snacks will be made available. Shifts will be 3-4 hours in length.
