Hello Fellow Minneapolis Issues List Members,

Two groups that have made a huge difference in making Minneapolis a more
sustainable city are the Green Institute- (which has provided great
leadership in the areas of eco-industrial development, energy conservation,
community gardens, re-use and green power) the MN Office of environmental
Assistance Sustainable Communities Team (which has provided seed money and
support to many neighborhood, business and city environmental projects in
Minneapolis.)

Please us in honoring them along with Horst Rechelbacher, the Founder of
Aveda and other local and national sustainability leaders next Thursday
evening. Frances Moore Lappe will also be there to read from and sign copies
of her new book. Please join us for the fun and inspiring evening! Please
forward this note to others you know who would like to attend. Thanks!
