Who said that "they expect you to ride a bus, maybe 2 or 3 buses"? Perhaps I have missed it but I can find nothing that suggest the Met Council or the Legislature expected LRT riders to take a bus or two in order to use the LRT! If anything, the planners underestimated the demand for LRT by people living far outside of the Hiawatha corridor and therefore did not address this problem.
When the link to the MegaMall is complete, I suspect that will relieve some of the parking woes around the existing stations. Jim Bernstein Fulton That's it-no one wanted to promote that you had to take 2 to 3 buses to get to the train. Perhaps they underestimated; but where were they going to draw the ridership from? I think it was the expectation; and they simply did not care. I do not think that parking at the mall, will relieve any of the parking issues that are for people going to events downtown. By no means will it be convenient to park at the mall to go to the dome or the Target center. Gina Palandri Standish REMINDERS: 1. Think a member has violated the rules?
