So in this anticipated long, hot political contested summer the race is on and there will be a lot of work going on in South Minneapolis mostly for Park Board races that can tip the ship back on course.
If you have any questions you need answered about the Park Board and how it works make sure you talk with the Reform folks. There is a whole group of people who have been working hard the past 16 months on Park Reform. Marvelous people, mostly women and they are committed to saving our parks.

This event is open to anyone interested in answering a crucial question—Why are these local positions important to me? The forums will include a brief overview of how Minneapolis city government is structured and will feature panelists representing Minneapolis’s independent boards explaining the relevance of the positions to voters. There will be ample time for audience questions. This forum will be a great opportunity for Minneapolis residents to better understand the city and the importance of the upcoming local elections.
