Re: Scott's comment on meeting minutes: On 7/21, I asked MPRB Secretary, Don Siggelkow, to begin fulfilling MPRB's legal obligation to produce records necessary to a full and accurate knowledge of its official activities. These records must be made available in a manner easily accessible for convenient use. See MN Stats. 13.03, 15.17.
Mr. Siggelkow relayed the request to Mr. Gurban, who forwarded it on to the Board's legal counsel where a response is gelling. The appropriate response is for MPRB to begin producing full meeting minutes in a timely fashion, recording commissioners' votes and posting the minutes on the web.
