Thank you for the reply. I was hoping for something more. So I will try again. When I set the tmsemysqlconnection.connected := true is the password sent in clear text or encrypted? Keep in mind that I am just using the component properties. I do not in any way setup / control the actual network traffic flow. I assume the component does all of that kind of stuff.
