Hello Graeme (and other)! I started to translate the IPF reference, and continued to experiment with fpdoc.
DocView is really great! I started to put my nose in the source code, and I have a question for you. Which fpGUI branch would you recommend to use? What would be the more useful for the fpGUI project? I feel really motivated for a new fpGUI campaign, I also think of reloading my chess GUI one of these days... But I would like to choose a branch and no longer switch from one to the other. I found one or two little things in DocView that would need to be fixed. When I switch the encoding to UTF8, the characters in the main window are correctly displayed, but in other places the result isn't good (see screenshot). Other (very little) issue: each time I start the application, the encoding comes back to CP850. Since the user favourite colors and fonts are correctly saved and reloaded, why not do the same with encoding? Or why not (other idea) try an encoding detection? (I have some working code ready to use for that, if ever you need.) Regards.
