Hi Lev,

By that do you mean that the binutils patch patches some gdb files and/or
the gdb patch patches some as/ld files?

Sorry about that. It'll be because the patches are generated from the
combined binutils+gdb upstream git repository, not the release packages
themselves. We should be able to fix this in the next release, so that the
patches apply cleanly to the upstream release packages.
