I was wondering...
The floppy diskdrives from the workstations (like that I'll be
using next time) are SCSI, right? Well, most of them must be SCSI, the
workstations doesn't have IDE or such things.
So, does anyone have ever tried to connect a SCSI floppy diskdrive
(like that I've said) to a MSX with a SCSI interface (HPN, Bert, Novaxis,
Mega-SCSI, etc.)? And if you have connected, could you format floppy disks
in 1,44 Mb format? Were they compatible with the PC? Could you read it in
the PC?
A friend of mine remembered me about the 'bit old' flopticals, that
floppy disk drives from Iomega which uses a laser to point the drive heads
and could format 1,44 Mb and special 22 Mb disks. Does anyone has a
floptical connected to your MSX? Can you tell me more about the experiences?
