There is one very nice game for MSX-1 called "Episode 4". It's
like Doom, but you can only turn 90 degrees at a time and there is only
one monster (but it's an invincible one!)
In this game, you must take care of your food (you can die of
hungry), and you can't walk at night without light amplifiers (an amazing
simulation!)
I used to play this game for hours when I was young. The only
thing better is "Monster Maze 3D" for the ZX-81 platform.
