There are several characters I've discovered have issues in the GMCP
composer - \ has already been reported, it needs to be escaped as \\.
This the composer does automatically if it opens a file with \ in it,
outputting a \\ in the composer window, but when writing a new file, it
must be manually escaped in the composer window.
[ will send to the MUD just fine unescaped, but when you open a scroll
with a [ in it, it disappears.
a " will also send just fine without any escapes, but when opening
scrolls you end up with a \ before every " in the composer window.
