Well spotted Sam! Armin, this would almost certainly explain why you were having troubles loading my kde_pim plugin some time back. Remember you were only experiencing troubles when you had a certain X module loaded. So like Sam, your X module was presumably failing to load and thus setting an error code that dlerror() would later report to multisync.
