Hi Regarding still syncing with a 7650: does the syncml plugin assume that UIDs of the VEVENTs will not be changed by the other end? And if they are changed, do we get back the UIDs assigned by the other end? Is there a database mapping these two?
This is what got sent from evo to a 7650 via multisync: BEGIN:VCALENDAR BEGIN:VEVENT UID:[EMAIL PROTECTED] DTSTAMP:20041213T145246Z DTSTART;TZID=/softwarestudio.org/Olson_20011030_5/Europe/Helsinki: 20041217T160000 DTEND;TZID=/softwarestudio.org/Olson_20011030_5/Europe/Helsinki: 20041219T203000 TRANSP:OPAQUE SEQUENCE:2 SUMMARY:Jkl CLASS:PUBLIC CREATED:20041213T145257 LAST-MODIFIED:20041213T145257 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR and this is what came back from the phone: BEGIN:VCALENDAR VERSION:1.0 BEGIN:VEVENT UID:2 DESCRIPTION:Jkl DTSTART:20041217T160000 DTEND:20041219T203000 CLASS:PUBLIC DCREATED:20041213T000000 LAST-MODIFIED:20041213T165300 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR The last modified seems to come as UTC from the Evolution side and localtime from the phone side as well... Does the syncml ask for changes based on the modified time? Would it be useful to log some traffic between the phone and a commercial syncml server, which it does seem to handle a bit better?
