Why feel shy of and hesitate to be honest and truthful and use faith in Allah (God) which is ambiguous instead of Islam which removes doubt and requires courage and straightfowardness.

For those who do not know Bangla, the article says that it will not be appropriate to go to 1972constitution which was amended by fifth amendment by an elected Parliament. Moreover the present constitution is equally or more democratic than 1972 constitution The fifth amendment basically changed only the preamble. It changed socialism, there is no point in going back to socialism when it has been abandoned even by Russia and China . Secondly Fifth Amendment changed Bangali nationalism into Bangladeshi nationalism. If we change to Bangali nationalism it will create discontent among ethnic minorities who do not consider them Bangali. Thirdly the provision of disallowing religious parties was for deleting an anti-democratic provision.Democracy does not ban parties.Religious parties are there in Europe , India and many other places. Fourthly secularism was deleted and replaced by faith in Allah (God).Secularism was no part of six-points of Awami League. It was also no part of declaration of independence or declaration of first Mujibnagar government. The last manifesto of Awami League said that they would not do anything against Islam. So change of faith in Allah is unjustified and will create serious dissention when we require peace.
