There are many submissions in the Mutopia Project that don't follow the
typical 1-piece submission model. There are several opera submissions that
contain all pieces in the opera as a single submission, for example.

Take a look at Psyché by J. B. Lully

in github
<https://github.com/MutopiaProject/MutopiaProject/tree/master/ftp/LullyJB/LWV56/lwv56/lwv56-lys>.
This is a single submission with many parts all tied together with a fairly
elaborate Makefile. For your layout --- where you have a hierarchy with
common includes --- this might be the easiest way.

Collections <http://www.mutopiaproject.org/browse.html> are a nice
mechanism to hold several submissions and allow you to present some
overview information with each piece. A good example of this is Mozart's
String Quartets (opus 10)

If you look at any single piece (the 'more information link) there is some
cover text as well as an optional link to a collection page
<http://www.mutopiaproject.org/collections/mozstrq/index.html> for the
piece. These are individual pieces that are then tied together elsewhere in
the Mutopia Project infrastructure. It might require some duplication of
your common files within each piece submission.
