just exporting LANG works just fine for me (server is a debian (potato) machine). i have this in my .zshrc: .... LANG="en_US" export CVSROOT MY_HOSTNAME LANG (altho export LANG="en_US" should work just fine) -- Experience -- a great teacher, but the tutition fees...
