Hey, Have you checked your nagios.cfg file? It seems to me like your command_file definition is incorrect and should be 'command_file=/usr/local/nagios/var/rw/nagios.cmd' instead of 'command_file=/usr/local/nagios//var/rw/nagios.cmd'.
