While the plugin expects the server to close the connection after sending the response, the server initiates a HTTP/1.0-style persistent connection. The plugin doesn't handle this properly and awaits more data until it runs into the timeout. Could you check whether you can reproduce the problem using the current snapshot and the "-H" option (in which case the plugin should request an HTTP/1.1 connection)?
