Summary: CSC Resource Naming Wrong
Initial Comment:
When I specify resources the generated name is incorrect. It seems to be to do
with the invalid character substitution code.
If I specify this in my build:
<property name="project-name" value="MyCompany.MyTeam.MyProject.MyComponent" />
<property name="project-src" value="C:\MyProject\src" />
...
<csc ...>
<resources basedir="${project-src}" dynamicprefix="true"
prefix="${project-name}}">
<include name="*.resx" />
<include name="resource/html/Error.html" />
<include name="toolbox_bitmaps/*.bmp" />
</resources>
</csc>
I expect to get a dll containing a couple of resources. The forms resources
(*.resx) come out as expected, but the others have an extra "_" in the resource
name, e.g.
MyCompany.MyTeam.MyProject.MyComponent_.resource.html.Error.html
It looks as if the underscore is being inserted in
Nant.DotNet.Types.ResourceFileSet.GetManifestResourceName - it is related to
the code that generates the dynamic prefix - possibly something to do with the
directory separator characters being miss identified.
